What is Vocal jazz Summer Camp? One intense, fun week covering all aspects of singing vocal jazz: solo & group singing, improvisation, songwriting and jazz theory. All ages and levels welcome. Includes daily teacher's session.

Theory, jazz vocal ear training and improvisation instruction begins with the basics but activities and lessons are designed so each person can move at their own pace

Daily noon-time guest lecturer joins via webinar
Educators’ session will focus on coaching solo and group vocal jazz ensembles with a rhythm section, repertoire selections, performance aesthetics, choosing microphones and use of sound reinforcement equipment
Evening concert at end of week for all participants (location tba)
In-person attendees and daily virtual sessions (webinar) attendees have lifetime access to workshop training videos and archived class sessions.
Come and enjoy a week of learning new vocal jazz skills, or adding to your vocal jazz repertoire. The atmosphere is relaxed and non-competitive, but intense! Meet jazz lovers and make new music friends. Instruction is given in large and small group sectionals and some one-on-one sessions.
Fee is usually $399.00 for the week and includes materials. Enrollment for the class is limited and on a first-come-first served basis.
All ages and levels welcome from beginner to advanced; participants are placed in groups according to their level of musical experience. All materials will be sent in advance of camp.
